Four of Southampton’s Premier League fixtures in April have been chosen for live television broadcast, with an additional fixture handed a new date.

The opening match of the month at West Ham United will now take place on Sunday 2nd April with a 2pm BST kick-off, broadcast live by Sky Sports.

Returning to St Mary’s the following weekend to host Manchester City, the game will once again be shown live by Sky Sports, taking place on Sunday 9th April at 2pm BST. However, the fixture is subject to movement depending on the participation of City in the Champions League the following week.

Facing another of this season’s title contenders, the trip to Arsenal will now take place on Friday 21st April with an 8pm BST kick-off and be broadcast by Sky Sports. Should the Gunners be involved in the Europa League the preceding Thursday then the match will be rearranged to Sunday 23rd April at 7pm, still on Sky Sports. The clash is also subject to Saints’ potential participation in the FA Cup semi-finals.

To be shown on BT Sport, the all south coast affair between Southampton and Bournemouth has moved to Tuesday 25th April with a 7.45pm BST kick-off, but could switch to Thursday 27th April (7.45pm BST) should the Arsenal clash be switched to Sunday 23rd April.

Finally, Saints’ trip to the north east to take on Newcastle has been altered to Sunday 30th April (2pm BST) due to the Magpies’ match against Everton being moved to Thursday 27th April.
