Southampton’s men’s first-team have added to their pre-season schedule with a friendly against Watford at Wealdstone’s Grosvenor Vale on Saturday 23rd July 3pm BST.
Taking place two weeks before the start of the 2022/23 Premier League season, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side will take on the Hornets three days after returning from their week-long training camp in Austria.

Facing SK Austria Klagenfurt during their time in Europe on Monday 18th July, Saints will test themselves against Watford before hosting Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal on Saturday 30th July at St Mary's.
Having suffered relegation from the Premier League in 2021/22, Watford will be looking to bounce back immediately, with Rob Edwards – who won promotion from League Two with Forest Green Rovers last season - now at the helm after the departure of Roy Hodgson.
