Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse has been named in the latest England squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures next month.

Ward-Prowse, who earned his 10th international cap in March, is once again included in Gareth Southgate’s plans following his best-ever goal scoring season in 2021/22.

Netting 11 goals in all competitions at club level, the midfielder was also on target for the Three Lions in last October’s 5-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra.

The Saints skipper will link-up with the rest of the squad at St George's Park at the end of this month, ready for four Nations League encounters as League A Group 3 begins.

Facing trips to Hungary and Germany on Saturday 4th and Tuesday 7th respectively, the Three Lions will then head to Molineux for clashes with Italy and Hungary on Saturday 11th and Tuesday 14th June.

Elsewhere, Stuart Armstrong and Ché Adams have been included in Scotland's squad for their crucial World Cup qualifying encounter with Ukraine on Wednesday 1st June.
