Join us for the Legends Big Bike Challenge

You just need to choose a Saints legend and cycle the distance from their place of birth to St Mary’s Stadium, raising £1 per mile completed to support the work of Saints Foundation. 

We’ve strived to make this year’s challenge accessible to everyone, regardless of your cycling experience. Challenge distances range from 26 miles – the equivalent of cycling from our stadium to Terry Paine’s birthplace of Winchester – to 332 miles – the distance from Gateshead, Lawrie McMenemy’s home city, to St Mary’s.

If you are an experienced rider, you may decide to take on the Ultimate Challenge and ride all of the distances combined. This means you can hit a total of 760 miles – even more than last year’s epic 600-mile Big Bike Challenge target.

How you complete your Legends Big Bike Challenge is up to you. Whether you take on longer rides once a week or shorter ones daily, the decision is entirely yours.

Restrictions permitting, we’ll be inviting all our Legends Big Bike Challenge riders to join together for a final celebratory ride at the end of the month, starting and ending at St Mary’s Stadium.
