Harrison Reed made a winning return from injury this weekend, helping Fulham to a vital 2-1 victory over Championship high-flyers Leeds United.

Reed was substituted in the 90th minute after an impressive display in central midfield, which helped Scott Parker’s side see off their play-off rivals at Craven Cottage.

Goals from Aleksandar Mitrović and Josh Onomah either side of a Patrick Bamford strike from the visitors helped Fulham to their first win in four.

Elsewhere in the football league, Alfie Jones and Thomas O’Connor both played 90 minutes as they helped Gillingham to a 3-1 home win over MK Dons.

Jones played the duration whilst O’Connor was a final minute substitute, as goals from Mikael Mandron, Brandon Hanlan and Max Ehmer ensured the Gills are unbeaten in four of their last five.

In Scotland, Fraser Forster ensured Celtic continued their winning run with a 2-1 win over fourth placed Aberdeen at Celtic Park.

The keeper played the full 90 between the sticks, as goals from Christopher Jullien and Odsonne Edouard made it 16 wins from 18 games in the Scottish Premier League this season.

Across Europe, Wesley Hoedt played another 90 minutes in Royal Antwerp’s 1-1 draw at Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Pro League, whilst Guido Carrillo returned from injury in Spain as a last-minute substitute for Leganés, who won 2-0 at bottom side Espanyol.
