Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has been named in the Denmark squad for their upcoming EURO 2020 qualifying matches against Republic of Ireland and Georgia.

The Saints skipper will join up his countrymen for the second time this season ahead of the pair of group games with the Danes looking to register their first win of the campaign following an opening 3-3 draw with Switzerland in March.

Højbjerg's side host a double header at FC København's Parken Stadium against Shane Long's Ireland on Friday 7th June and bottom-of-the-table Georgia on Monday 10th June.

The former lead UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifying Group D on six points with the Swiss occupying second place with four.
