Getting there by car
Significant roadworks have begun on key roads surrounding Old Trafford which will last until 2020, until the Trafford Park Metrolink extension is completed. This will increase your journey time to and from the stadium and therefore public transport is strongly advised. For more information, click here.
Getting there by train
Probably the best way to get to Old Trafford is by train from Manchester Piccadilly mainline station, as the stadium has its own railway station next to the ground, located immediately outside the away end.
Getting there by tram/Metrolink
The other quickest way of getting to Old Trafford is to grab a lift on the nearest tram/metrolink. Trams travel every 12 minutes every day of the week. The nearest tram station to Old Trafford is located next to Lancashire County Cricket Club on Warwick Road, which leads straight up to Sir Matt Busby Way and takes about 10 minutes to walk.
