Southampton will visit Brentford for a pre-season friendly as part of their preparations for the 2017/18 campaign.
Saints will travel to Griffin Park on Saturday 22nd July to take on the Championship side in a 3pm BST kick-off.
The game is set to take place in between two European training camps that the first-team will be embarking on.
We can confirm these will take place in Austria and France, with dates and opposition for each tour set to be announced in due course.
Saints last visited Brentford in April 2011, when they secured a 3-0 win that pushed them to the verge of promotion from League One.
Dean Smith's team enjoyed a strong season in the second tier last term, finishing in tenth position, meaning they should provide Saints with a good test as they step up their summer preparations.
The game could also see the club come up against one of their former youngsters, Harlee Dean.
The defender, 25, was with Saints from 2010 until 2012, although he did not make a first-team appearance in that time, and is now the captain of the Bees.
Ticketing details will be announced once confirmed, while further pre-season fixture announcements will be made on southamptonfc.com in due course.
