Join St Mary’s Training Centre, Southampton Football Club's registered training provider to help carry out training and assessments on our Match Day Safety Stewards.
St Mary’s Training Centre Ltd (SMTC) was founded in 2008 and is a subsidiary company of Southampton Football Club competing in the highest tier of English football.
What is the role?
The role of the Assessor will be to plan and carry out assessments against the L2 NVQ in Customer Service standards on candidates from our Stewarding team. To manage, progress and complete a caseload of learners across the football season.
As pieceworkers you will be paid for the number of portfolio’s you produce however, quality and attention to detail are in service delivery is essential to your success as an Assessor.
You will be required to work matchdays, which includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays so flexibility is a must.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with a strong awareness, excellent communication skills and ability to give a detailed feedback to candidates they are assessing. We want someone who can provide support and encourage candidates in the successful completion of their NVQ qualifications.
The competencies which are required include:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill (essential)
• Possess and Assessors Qualification (essential)
• Occupational competency and experience in assessing customer service qualification (essential)
• Experience in stewarding / spectator safety (desirable)
• Ability to work to tight deadlines. (essential)
• Good time management skills. (essential)
• Excellent team player, reliable. (essential)
