Saints duo Matt Targett and Harrison Reed have been named in the England Under-20 squad for a four-team tournament in Holland next week.
The competition, which takes place in Heerenveen, will see Aidy Boothroyd’s side play three games in five days.
First up is a game against last season’s UEFA European Under-19 Championship winners, Germany, on Thursday 9th October (kick-off: 3.30pm BST) at the Sportpark Skoatterwald.
Then, two days later, the Young Lions take on hosts Holland at the same venue (5pm BST) before rounding off the tournament against Turkey on Monday 13th October (6pm BST).
Targett and Reed made their debuts at under-20 level last month, appearing in a 6-0 friendly win over Romania.
