Yoshida summoned for Jamaica and Brazil friendlies

Maya Yoshida has been named in Japan’s squad for two friendlies later this month.

First up for the Samurai Blue is a Kirin Challenge Cup 2014 game against Jamaica at the Denka Big Swan Stadium in Niigata on Friday 10th October (11.25am BST kick-off time).

Then comes a prestige friendly against Brazil to be held in Singapore at the newly-opened national stadium in the Singapor Sports Hub in Kallang. This fixture takes place on Tuesday 14th October and kicks off at 11.45am BST.

These games will be Japan’s second and third under new coach Javier Aguirre as they prepare of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup finals, which take place next January.
