Dani Osvaldo has joined Juventus on loan until the end of the season, Southampton Football Club can confirm.

The striker moves back to Italy for the next four months with the option of a permanent transfer in the summer.

Osvaldo departs St Mary’s having been suspended by the Club following a disciplinary incident at the training ground last week.

He joined Southampton last August, and went on to score three goals in nine starts and four substitute appearances during an injury-disrupted first half-season in England.

Juventus currently top Serie A with a six-point advantage over Osvaldo’s former side Roma, and will compete in the UEFA Europa League in the second half of the season having been knocked out of the Champions League.
